ENGLISH ROLE PLAY


Stop the Manipulative Trickery

Narrator: The class of Mr. De Gracia will discuss the selection about the Stop the Manipulative Trickery.
Teacher: Class, listen what is authentic communication, this is the main topic.
Recta: It is also a empathy listening with deep compassion.
Teacher: In the selection what is mean by people management/course that should be banned.
Mercado: Sir, it is, manipulation and manipulation is dishonesty, it is a way of using people, a belief where the end justifies the means.
Teacher: Very well said, Mercado. At the beginning of the action a person might be able to determine whether that action is morally right or wrong, but when morally right goal is all successfully achieved then the steps which left to its must be morally right.
(Rotoni hands up)
Teacher: Yes, Rotoni.
Rotoni: Authentic response helps creates a more effortless authentic line through integrating practical spiritually body-mind awareness and holistic healing techniques.

When Ideas Kill

Narrator: What the students be studying in college.
Teacher:  Class what can you say about moral consciousness.

Jover: (raises hand)

Jover: Student should exposed to the great ethical thinkers who pondered the meaning of life and death, recognizes between good and evil and what is right and wrong.
( Bell rings)
Teacher: Very well said. That’s all for this day. Goodbye class.



Stop the Clock

Narrator: Two generations show difference on how to save time and how each uses time wisely. The technology advancement at our fingertips.

 
Scene 1. New generation
Jover: Calling with his friend.
            How are you now.
            How’s the concert of Justin Beiber.
            Do you find it entertaining?
 
Rotoni: (receiver)
             (Cellphone ringing)
             Yes, I have a good time watching the concert.
 
Narrator: two didn’t know the they have their homework
Scene 2:
Old  generation
Narrator: Student writing a letter  for his friend in Manila to find out what was happening at the concert of Justin Beiber.
Recta : Hi friend______________...
            (fold and mailed)
 
Narrator : After a month, the mail arrived.
 
Mercado : (receiver)
               (open the mail and read)
            Oh! It was come from my friend in Davao. He want to know the concert of Justin Beiber
Narrator :  He write a response to the letter.
 
Jover: (Preparing for instant coffee)
            Hmmm! Instant coffee.

        Recta: ( Pounding a coffee beans)
                 Ohz! My back..
                Preparing for a homemade natural coffee.  

Narrator: A generation that is very concerned with time saving time but often unaware of any the consequences the harm that could it bring to their self as well as in the society as a whole.






The buried treasure

Narrator: A Chinese folk tail that tells about two brothers who are different in many ways and how each confronts obstacles.

Scene 1: At the house after Yue Sheng arrive from the town gatherings.

Father: My, son please change your attitude don’t be fool and be responsible for time will come that I will leave in this place.
Yue Sheng: Even though I am like this but I love you very much.
Yue Cang: Look! What a good son, he doesn’t even respect you as our father.
Scene 2: A villager comes at their house.
Yue Sheng: Come in I have prepared a snack for you guys.

Narrator: one day when old jarhead fell sick, he summoned his son beside his bed and told the contents of his well.
Father: I will left everething to Yue Cang.
Yue Sheng: How about me, father.
Father: I have money set aside for you. But I gave to you now, you spend it all, you can get it when you’ve learned the value of hard work.

Narrator:  After the death of their father, Yue Sheng work harder and harder and find out the money that his father set aside for him and he learned the value of hard work.













The Scarlet Ibis

Narrator: the story is about a two brother. The older brother remembers his physically challenged brother Doodle, who was born tiny and weak. Although Doodle is not expected to live, he does.
When the older brother tries to turn Doodle into a brother he always wanted, the results are not as they either expected.
Scene
Doodle: (Lying in the bed)
Older Brother: I want to train you how to walk.
Doodle: Really but how?

Narrator: Doodle at that time was five years old. They went down on old woman swamp.

Older Brother: (start to help Doodle to get up from his cart)
Doodle: Don’t hurt me, brother I can’t walk.
Older Brother: who say so!
Doodle: Mama, the Doctor, everybody.
Narrator: It seem so hopeless from the beginning that it’s a miracle Doodle and his brother didn’t give up.
Doodle: Look! I walk, I can walk.
Older Brother: yeah, you could walk now.

Dreams of the Memories Lost
Narrator: The play tells about  a vivid description of how much love is being nurtured by the father and his son relationship that ‘till the last minute of hid father’d breath, he was with him in hi dream.

Scene 1.
Son: Father. Let’s watch tv.
Father: ok, lets watch.

Narrator: The son had a dream about the father’s disease.
              Alzheimer’s disease.
Son: Search on the internet about Alzheimer’s disease.
Scene 2.

Narrator: 2003 is a strange year for the family. Everything had change.
            The funeral was white and cold.
